With over 25 years of diverse health care experience, Matthew Foster, MD, MMM, currently serves as president and CEO of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT and Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH. Dr. Foster is a dedicated leader and patient advocate with expertise in clinical care, quality, and health care delivery models. He has served in leadership roles with the College of American Pathologists, including as Chair of the Federal and State Affairs Committee and currently as a member of the Board of Governors. Dr. Foster’s career includes clinical practice in pathology, cancer care leadership, and executive roles at Centra Health in Lynchburg, VA, where he advanced programs in palliative care, psychiatric stabilization, and cancer survivorship. Outside work, he enjoys gardening, skiing, and mountain biking with his family.
