Ms. Lloyd is the founder and principal of Athena Advocacy, an organization dedicated to providing guardianship, fiduciary, and care-advocacy services. She leads a multidisciplinary team that delivers individually tailored services to clients across New England. In addition to her direct work with clients, Ms. Lloyd is frequently invited to provide training on financial exploitation for private-sector organizations, law enforcement, and public agencies.
Before founding Athena Advocacy in 2015, Ms. Lloyd served as an investigator with the Vermont Adult Protective Services, where she specialized in cases of financial exploitation. She is the founder and current chair of FAST (Financial Abuse Specialist Team) of Vermont, established in 2011 that brings professionals across Vermont together monthly with the mission to prevent and mitigate financial exploitation of older and vulnerable adults.
