DiSC is a widely used model at Dartmouth Health that helps employees better understand and leverage four key aspects of personality: Dominance (D), Influence (i), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C).

In this class, you’ll take the DiSC assessment, explore the model in depth, and identify strategies to increase your effectiveness in the workplace.

Your personalized DiSC profile will give you insights into how you approach challenges, influence others, prefer to pace your work, and respond to rules and procedures. The assessment measures behavioral tendencies and preferences—not skills or job qualifications—and offers a nonjudgmental framework for understanding yourself and others.
