Erin McCabe, Yoga Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer and owner of Erin McCabe Wellness
Please join this workshop to provide support, education, community, and a specific rehab plan to follow no matter where you are in your healing following your C-section delivery. Please note: you must be cleared by your medical providers to participate, however anyone can attend to learn. This workshop is for anyone:
● who has felt alone, and who wants to get back to general life and eventually exercise but doesn’t know where to start after this delivery and surgery or who has been told to just walk as their rehab plan
● who has dealt with recurrent pain (low back pain, hip tension or pain, neck/shoulder/chest tightness or pain, pelvic pain or issues) after their delivery
● who is years postpartum and is still processing their delivery or avoiding their scar, but now there are so many more resources and you feel like it’s too late
○ This is not for anyone in the first 6 weeks, instead reach out directly to Erin for other resources, or get a pelvic PT referral; and this is not for anyone who is dealing with acute secondary complications.
After this workshop you will have a plan to follow, an e-book that is yours forever, a simple template for a home 5 mins routine to get started right away, and a community to connect with.
Bio: Erin McCabe is a 2 time C-section mom, with a background in athletic training during which time I focused on post-op rehab for collegiate athletes. After leaving collegiate athletics I got my yoga therapy certification and began incorporating more breath practices, mindset work, and put more emphasis on how our Self is impacted by injuries and surgeries (what we might call the psychology of healing or using the bio-psycho-social model of medicine).
Testimonials:
After a difficult birth and emergency cesarean, Erin helped me feel whole again. I can't recommend Erin highly enough, especially if you're a new mom. She helped me recover and reconnect with my body after surgery and pregnancy.
As someone who enjoys working out, taking it slow postpartum was hard for me. Erin’s class helped me slow down and tune in to my body and better understand where things stood after pregnancy and labor.
