The Rural Perinatal Care ECHO will address the special challenges faced by rural and remote rural pregnant and postpartum people and their care teams. Together participants and faculty will explore innovative approaches aimed at resolving the current challenges to care. Topics will range from mitigating geographic risk to network development and maintaining access to high quality maternity and neonatal care in rural communities. The intended audience includes anyone providing perinatal care and support to rural residents with the goal of promoting equitable, high-quality perinatal health

Schedule: Every second Tuesday of the month starting September 8, 2026 through April 13, 2027 from 12:30-1:30pm EST.
Target Audience: Clinical staff in New Hampshire, Maine and beyond, Primary care teams, ER Staff, EMS, ObGyns, Midwives, OB nursing staff, Pediatricians, Doulas, Public Health Nurses, Community Health Workers, Administrators, and others with interest

Certification Issuance Criteria
A certificate of attendance (non CME/non CNE) is available on request for all our ECHO courses at the end of the course. Just send an email to ECHO@Hitchcock.org requesting a certificate of attendance after the course is over and the team will issue a certificate indicating the title of the course and the number of hours you attended. Note that attendance is automatically tracked by the I-ECHO system so no need for you to provide the hours to receive this certificate.
Accreditation Information
CME and/or CNE hours are available for selected ECHO courses through the DH Continuing Professional Learning Center (CPLD), one hour per full session attended. For detailed information on accreditation, when offered, please go to the I-ECHO site for the course, click the CONTENT tab and scroll down to “CME/CNE Information and Tracking”. This will bring up a CPLD word document with detailed information and a session tracking template. After the course is completed, you can click on “Claim CEs link” at the I-ECHO site under the CONTENT tab which will take you to the CPLD website to complete an online form and submit the number of hours you attended. The “Claim CEs link" will also be put in the Chat during the final session and emailed to you. Downloadable documentation of your credit hours will be available at the site within 30 days of submitting your hours.
