Safe Patient Handling and Falls Prevention Training - NLH Employees ONLY

Safe Patient Handling and Falls Prevention Training is designed for new employees and those staff working in a space where physically moving and assisting patients with mobility is routine work. This training is entry level knowledge regarding safe patient handling and falls prevention. Departments will facilitate department specific training for various pieces of equipment that are isolated to individual areas. 

The session will consist of a 1-hour didactic learning followed by 2 hours of hands-on skills.

Sessions are limited to 8 participants to allow enough time for hands on training for all staff involved.
