Karl A. Dietrich, MD, MPHCheshire Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency program has welcomed its second cohort of residents, adding six more providers to its staff.
The second class consists of: Trevor A. Read, DO, Grace A. Marrinan, MD, Vinh H. Le, MD, Shea A. Bellino, MD, Douglas A.I. Lischke, DO, and Fatima Shaukat, MD. These residents join Cheshire’s inaugural resident class—who started in July 2024—bringing the program up to 12 residents.
“We are excited to welcome this outstanding group of resident physicians to Cheshire as our residency program grows,” said Karl A. Dietrich, MD, MPH, program director. “Each of them brings a commitment to primary care and improving the health of their patients and community. They are eager to start seeing patients later this month.”
Under the supervision of board-certified physicians, these residents will start seeing patients at the end of July as primary care providers in our Family & Community Care clinic on Maple Avenue in Keene. Residents will also work in several other clinical settings at Cheshire under the supervision of clinicians in multiple specialty services. After completing their three-year residency, the residents will be able to work as family physicians without oversight.
With this program in place, Cheshire is driving forward its mission to improve access to primary care in the Greater Monadnock Region. For more information about Cheshire’s Family Medicine Residency Program, visit cheshiremed.org/residency.
