IN-PERSON Simple Printmaking

In this workshop, we will use simple and safe materials to create prints from foam printing plates. 

You will draw or trace directly onto the printing plate and then print your image onto paper to use as cards, bookmarks, or whatever you like.
If you would like to trace something, please bring printed out versions with you and make sure your image can fit onto a 4x6 inch piece of paper. 

Feel free to bring reference images with you if you would like to draw, or you can make something up on the spot! 

Simple shapes and images work best for printmaking. Remember- words will turn out reversed when printed! 

All materials will be provided but if you would like to print onto any fun or pretty papers you have at home, feel free to bring those with you.
