Dartmouth Health’s Heart and Vascular Center is proud to sponsor the 2025 New Hampshire Heart Walk. Presented by the New Hampshire chapter of the American Heart Association (AHA), the Heart Walk is a nationwide effort with millions of walkers joining through their local AHA chapters to raise funds and awareness for heart disease and stroke, and to teach people lifesaving skills like CPR that turn bystanders into heroes.

The Heart Walk will be held on Sunday, June 1, at Livingston Park, located at 156 Hooksett Road in Manchester. The route is one mile, and participants may choose to walk or run the route once or more. There will be a special dedicated lane for survivors of heart disease and stroke, who will be honored for their strength and survival.

“At Dartmouth Health, our commitment to advancing cardiovascular health is unwavering, and we are incredibly proud to partner with the American Heart Association,” said Richard J. Powell, MD, director of the Heart and Vascular Center. “Whether you’re walking or running 1, 2, or 3 miles at the Heart Walk, we thank all participants for being part of this important effort and ‘walking with heart.’”

The event will begin at 9 a.m., with opening remarks at 9:45 a.m. and the start of the Heart Walk at 10 a.m. To register, find a team and learn more, visit bit.ly/4kohZx5.
