We are proud to bring APD Express Care to our community. This new clinic expands access to the exceptional, compassionate care that APD is known for.
Susan E. Mooney, MD, MSAlice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD), a member of Dartmouth Health, has opened APD Express Care, a new clinic for immediate care needs. The clinic treats non-life-threatening conditions, such as sprains, skin rashes, minor cuts and burns, colds and flu, and certain infections. APD Express Care is open Monday-Friday, 10 am-6 pm, for the month of September. Starting Monday, October 6, Express Care hours will expand to Monday-Friday, 8 am-8 pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 9 am-3 pm.
Everyone is welcome at APD Express Care, including patients without a primary care provider and patients from outside the Dartmouth Health system. Most insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. No appointment is required.
APD Express Care is staffed primarily by advanced practice providers and supported by registered nurses, medical assistants, and paramedics. Leadership is provided by Kristie R. Foster, MSN, RN, GERO-BC, APD’s director of emergency department and Express Care, and Jennifer V. Pope, MD, and Benjamin C. Ames, MPAS, PA-C, co-medical directors of APD Express Care.
