Mom’s Day Off participants gather at Bromley during the 2025 event.

On Friday, February 27, Bromley Mountain Ski Resort will hold its 23rd annual “Mom’s Day Off” fundraiser, benefiting Dartmouth Cancer Center Bennington. Mothers (including honorary moms and pet moms) ski or ride for just $30 when they show the ticket seller a snapshot of their children or four-legged kids.

The entirety of the $30 ticket—which is 75% off regular lift ticket prices—is donated to the breast cancer program at Dartmouth Cancer Center Bennington, located at Dartmouth Health’s Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC). In addition, the Wild Boar Tavern at Bromley will donate 50% of its proceeds from the day to the cause.

Several local businesses will also be supporting this year’s event, including Renu Lounge and Day Spa, Zippy Chicks, JJ Hapgood General Store, Made for the Mountains and La Pêche Lingerie.

Last year’s event raised nearly $11,000 to benefit regional breast cancer services.

Lift tickets may be purchased the day of the event. In case of inclement weather, Mom’s Day Off will be moved to the following Friday, March 6.

Bromley Mountain is located at 3984 Vermont Route 11, Peru, VT, six miles east of Manchester. The resort has 47 trails and a variety of skiing terrain for all levels. For more information, visit bromley.com.
