Leaders: AARP Presenters

Several public benefit programs exist that can help eligible older adults and their families stretch their budgets, reduce expenses and obtain essential services and resources.

This presentation will walk you through key programs available to people with limited income such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Medicare Savings Programs (which help cover premiums and other Medicare costs), and the Medicare Extra Help Plan (aimed at Part D prescription drug plan costs). You’ll learn what each program offers, who qualifies and how to access the benefits.

You will receive the link for the program one hour before the class is scheduled to begin.
