Dartmouth Health’s Dartmouth-Hitchcock Boards of Trustees welcome three new members

Three new members have joined the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Boards of Trustees, a dedicated group working to ensure that Dartmouth Health’s Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics are well-positioned to advance health and to achieve the healthiest population possible in our region and beyond.

The new members are:
•    Danielle A. Dyer, MBA, senior advisor of Oliver Wyman Inc.’s health care consulting practice 
•    Jennifer L. Hunt, MD, MEd, chief academic officer at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and dean of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth 
•    Lindsay I. Muns, MBA, MHSA, chief executive officer of Tryon Management Group

Dyer is a senior advisor for Oliver Wyman Inc.’s health care consulting practice and has more than 30 years of experience serving health care providers in system formation and integration, governance and organization design, strategic repositioning and margin improvement, and care delivery redesign. She has held senior leadership roles at Guidehouse, Navigant, and APM/CSC Healthcare. Dyer leads large, complex engagements integrating strategy and performance improvement initiatives for academic medical centers and large teaching and community hospitals. She earned a bachelor’s degree with distinction from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business.

Hunt is an internationally recognized pathologist and physician-scientist, chief academic officer of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and dean of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She previously served as interim dean of the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she was the Folke H. Peterson Dean’s Distinguished Professor. Before being named interim dean, she served as chair of the College of Medicine’s Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine and was chief of the hospital medical staff at UF Health Shands Hospital. Hunt earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed a residency in anatomic pathology and a fellowship in molecular genetic pathology. She has held academic appointments and leadership roles at the University of Pittsburgh, Cleveland Clinic, Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. An internationally known head and neck molecular pathologist, Hunt as authored more than 160 peer-reviewed scientific publications. She has served in elected leadership roles and on boards of directors for organizations including the College of American Pathologists and the Association of Pathology Chairs.

Muns is chief executive officer of Tryon Management Group and previously served as president of physician practices for US Radiology Specialists. She has more than 20 years of experience leading complex health care organizations through growth, innovation, and transformation. Her leadership experience spans physician practice management, health system operations, strategic partnerships, quality improvement, workforce management, and financial stewardship. Before these roles, Muns held senior leadership positions with Cleveland Clinic, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Aetna and OrthoCarolina. She earned an MBA from the Ross School of Business and a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. Muns serves on the boards of directors of Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center and the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte, where she contributes to strategic planning and community impact initiatives.
