Dartmouth Health is a recognized Platinum-Level New Hampshire Veteran-Friendly Business, acknowledged by the New Hampshire Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services' (DMAVS) Division of Community Based Military Programs. This honorable designation, orchestrated by DMAVS and New Hampshire Employment Security, recognizes businesses that prioritize attracting and retaining military service members, veterans and their families into their workforce. Dartmouth Health values those who have served and supports service members to continue to make meaningful contributions in civilian employment.

Dartmouth Health will be featured on the New Hampshire state website as a Veteran Friendly Business at the Platinum level, a recognition that is valid for a three-year period. "We are very excited about Dartmouth Health joining the ranks of New Hampshire's Veteran-Friendly Business network, that comprises just under 100 businesses statewide," said New Hampshire Adjutant General Maj. Gen. David J. Mikolaities. "Their incredible leadership within the rural healthcare system in both New Hampshire and Vermont represents significant potential for collaboration on behalf of our veterans, service members and their families in the Granite State. We look forward to progressing our partnership in support of positively impacting veterans, addressing critical workforce needs and contributing to achieving the governor’s goal of becoming the most veteran-friendly state in the nation."

"Being recognized as a New Hampshire Veteran Friendly Business affirms our commitment to creating a workplace where military service members, veterans and their families are supported and valued," said Aimée Claiborne, Dartmouth Health's chief human resources officer. "As award recipients and long-standing supporters of the New Hampshire Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) programs, we continue to strengthen our support for the military community through our leadership practices and benefit programs. We are honored to be recognized by the DMAVS for our work to drive a culture of impact and belonging."

"Dartmouth Health continues to demonstrate strong leadership for New Hampshire and we are so excited to have them as part of our Veteran Friendly Business network," said New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner Rich Lavers. "Hiring our veterans as they transition from defending our country to strengthening our civilian workforce, particularly in high demand sectors like health care, will continue to be critical to successful workforce growth for our state. I applaud this decision by the Dartmouth Health leadership team."
