Audrey Wilson, JD

Audrey Wilson, JD, serves as the Deputy General Counsel to the Dartmouth Health (DH) system. In her role, Wilson leads and manages the Office of General Counsel for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics. Additionally, she assists the Dartmouth Health Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel to provide legal advice and strategic guidance to executive leadership and the governing bodies of Dartmouth Health and its members.

Prior to joining DH, she served as deputy general counsel at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. There, she provided strategic legal guidance on contracts, grant-related work and regulatory compliance in support of one of the nation's leading pediatric cancer research hospitals.

Wilson's extensive experience includes advising executive leadership and governing boards on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property and litigation. Before joining St. Jude in 2022, Wilson served as the associate general counsel for Florida State University, one of the largest public universities in the U.S., and as vice president, chief compliance officer and head of internal audit at Phoebe Putney Health Systems, a network of regional hospitals based in Albany, Georgia. Her background also includes senior legal roles with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Wilson earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Florida and her law degree from Florida State University College of Law. She is a member of the Georgia and Florida state bars and a registered in-house counsel with the Tennessee Bar Association. Wilson maintains membership in the National Council of University Research Administrators and the American Health Lawyers Association.
